Swimming

There are several swimming related activities throughout the Summer for all family members at Rolling Hills pool.  We have children's parties organized by parents from pre-school to middle school. A senior high event for all high school students and friends is always a popular party. "Dive-In" movies occur several times during the Summer. We set up a projector and play a movie for families  on the pool deck. Scheduling supper events for the whole family has been fun. We order from a different local restaurant each time. The family pot-lucks has been a great afternoon favorite. The pool staff grills out on the lawn and families bring a dish to share. On the past July 4th holidays, we have also organized games such as water balloon toss and relays. The family atmosphere is very difficult to duplicate at other pools in the area because the pool members help plan and carry out the big events.

Rolling Hills traditionally opens Memorial Weekend with a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning. The swim team coaches are available to introduce themselves and sign up new team members. Old friends catch up on the happenings over the winter. The fun starts. The pool closes Labor Day weekend with a Dog Day Party the last 2 hours of the pool time.

News and information will be posted on the home page throughout the Summer as well as on the bulletin boards at the pool
